Our Story
With more than 23 years of experience, Tammie understands the unique needs of infants, wobblers, and busy toddlers. She keeps her group small—no more than 12 children ages 0–5—so every child is known by name, temperament, and personality. Parents appreciate that their children are welcomed each morning with a smile, consistent routines, and clear communication.
From first steps to first letters, Tammie’s Tots is designed to feel like an extension of your own home—warm, predictable, and built on trust—while still offering the learning experiences you expect from quality early childhood care.
A little about Tammie
Hello, I’m Tammie, the owner and caregiver at Tammie’s Tots. Caring for young children has been my calling for more than 23 years. Over the years I’ve supported many families through baby’s first year, the busy toddler stage, and those important preschool-readiness milestones.
I run Tammie’s Tots as a Christian home where kindness, patience, and respect are modeled every day. I believe children thrive when they feel truly seen and loved, so I intentionally keep my group small and build close relationships with each child and family.
Parents often tell me they feel like they are leaving their child with family. I work hard to earn and keep that trust—communicating clearly, maintaining consistent routines, and creating an environment where children are safe, happy, and excited to come back each day.

Let’s talk about your child’s needs
Choosing child care is a big decision, and you deserve to see where your child will spend their day. I invite you to call and schedule a visit so we can walk through the home, talk about your child’s routines, and answer any questions you may have.
During your visit, you’ll see our play and learning areas, outdoor space, and get a feel for our daily flow. You’re welcome to ask about schedules, openings, and what to expect during the first few weeks of care.
If you prefer, you can also reach out through the Contact page, and I will follow up to set a time that works for your family.
